This Sputnik shaped wall mounted coat rack is designed in 1961 in Italy by Osvaldo Borsani For Tecno.
Space age design at its best.
Super groovy yet very functional .
The ball turns on the stalk to give easy access all round and it mounts to the wall with three srews.
A sizable and sturdy piece it measures 38cm long and the stalk is made of metal while the ball and spokes are from wood.
There are some marks on the wood.- See pictures.
